I attended
Ely Cineworld last night to watch Predator: Badlands.
My thoughts
are, it is not a brilliant movie, but I enjoyed it, it was entertaining. It’s
also a novel take on the Predator franchise, they tried to do something a bit
different and out of the ordinary, which, I think, should be applauded.
However, it was a little cringey in places. Overall entertaining, I don’t feel
the need to see it again, but I would watch it at home as part of a Predator
series run.
Thanks for that. From the previews I was wonder what they were going to do. Saw the first which I found interesting but lots of holes. No interest in any of the others that followed except perhaps the one where the Tribal Indians are up against one. At least, I think it is just one. Having seen what one could do against an experienced, heavily armed veteran squad, I'm not sure how the Tribals could do much of anything, though they must or it wouldn't be much of a movie.
ReplyDeleteYeah the first definitely had alot of holes having recently re-watched it. However, whilst the movie isnt brilliant it is entertaining and they've done something a bit different and it keeps you interested throughout despite the odd cringey moment that doesnt quite feel right.
