Hostiles Incoming
I re-watched Alien Resurrection last night where Ripley comes back from the dead 200 years later as a clone who is then implanted with an alien.
Its not a great film but one thing struck me - has Ron Perlman ever looked young?
Anyway, I re-watched it as I have a couple of new purchases on order now.
Firstly, a drone/robot force coming from GZG for my hostile AI army. This is composed of Spider Mechs and grav drones for support. But also, these awesome little models to make it feel more Terminator:

These will definitely be painted silver with red glowing "eyes". I will probably call them something like Sentinels.
Back story: Tyically used as static guards by the AI but can be deployed for offensive operations.
The other order I placed was with Kurasan in the USA for some Space Demons.

I have always wanted a force of these but had to save up the pennies first. As a note, if you are in the UK ordering from Khurasan, you add what you want to your cart - a Paypal cart will pop up when you add your first item, then pay as normal through Paypal. The guy who runs it will then email, to tell you how it works, then refund you an amount (approx. the delivery charge) through Paypal, then email you a link for approx the same amount via ebay which then sorts out the VAT automatically so you dont have to worry about import VAT.
Really looking forward to painting both of these orders up. I am probably going to with a silver scheme for the hostile AI force, and a dark purple scheme for the not Alien Space Demons.
I will also, down the road, be purchasing a Human resistance/colonial force army to oppose both sides, probably using the Colonial Defence Force range from Ground Zero Games.

I did see someone describe this range as sci-fi Das Afrika Korps, which I can see. Maybe they would pair well with Eureka's sci-fi German Stormtroopers for a retro-themed German sci-fi force.

That would be really cool - damnit!
