A Spooky Sci-Fi Scenario Part 3
The Last Stand
So, you’ve
lost everything. You are wandering about the bad lands, pondering where to go
and what to do. Nothing left but that which you carry.
The
refugees from Mamary Town and Fort Dumpster are wearily wandering the badlands
when all of a sudden on the horizon, they spot a building. They head towards
it.
They go to
the building, and the sign reads The Wondering Bar. They never knew it was here,
but it looks like it’s been here a long time.
They go in,
the bar is owned and run by two sentient droids called BeepBoop and CThroPoo.
The bar is
a large building with a rooftop seating area, all enclosed.
The
refugees, over free drinks and food, explain their story to the two droids, and
tell the droids that the warp mutants will be coming here next, that they are
being followed and that they should leave with them.
The Droids
laugh and say no chance and encourage the refugees to stay and help them defend
the place from the oncoming warp mutants.
The
refugees agree.
The bar has
4 pop-up automated defense towers. The building is enclosed by a medium wall.
The rooftop can be used as a defensive platform, and the droids mount several
heavy weapons to it.
The droids
count as heroes. They both have special abilities. They have 2 wounds each.
BeepBoop
has a sonic blast that can knock an enemy back 6” and stun them for a full
turn. It can only be used once per turn.
CThroPoo
has JibberJabber which causes an enemy to temporarily go insane and run away –
must immediately move 3” plus D10 inches directly away. It can only be used
once per turn.
Both droids
also have a laser pistol/blaster each.
There are
10 refugees to help defend plus 4 automated turret defenses and wall mounted
heavy weapons.
You must
fight off 5 successive waves of 1 warp monster, and 10 warp mutants +D10 warp
mutants.
If you are
successful in this scenario, revert to the previous scenarios and play through
them if you want to.
