The Exciting World Of Paint
How Do You Buy Yours?
I have today put in an order for some fresh paint pots - exciting I know (I am actually excited to get them and crack on)!
We all have our preferences and we all know what we like and how we personally like to paint our own figures.
But, how do you tend to buy yours?
Do you pick up the odd pot as it runs out or dry? Do you order online or wait until you are at a show to avoid postage costs?
Do you buy paint sets? Or do you like to buy a custom batch according to what you need specifically? Do you stock up on others you could do with or might need soonish according to outstanding projects?
My own personal preference of paint brands are Coat D'Arms and Wargames Foundry. If i only a need the odd pot I will buy Coat D'Arms, if I ned to order more for a new or existing (backlogged) project, I tend to place a larger order with Wargames Foundry for their triads.
I really like the Foundry Triad paint system, it makes things fast and easy as well as looking good. A bit pricey though - which is why I use Coat D'Arms for smaller replacement requirements as they are still good paints that I use alot.
The order I placed today was with Wargames Foundry for several triad sets of my own choosing.
