Morals vs Fun

 Or, Credits versus Karma

In your sci-fi skirish/semi-RPG games, do you ever add moral quandaries and conundrums to your games?

Whilst thinking about a Christmas themed scenario, I had an idea, but it does verge on the horrible, and would present a moral quandary for the players if not playing solo. However, the moral quandary is loosely based on very real life happenings.

I wont give anything away, as I have decided to not include this in the Christmas scenario which I will post on the 1st December.

But it did get me wondering, do any of you play out moral decisions in your games, and if so what were they and how were they played out?

Do you give the players a bonus in credits for doing the bad thing as it properly completes a contract for example. On the flip side, if the players choose to do the morally right thing, do they gain some sort of Karma points that can influence NPC's, even encounters, and the type of cotracts you can take on?

An example of this would be in Star Wars, when Han Solo chooses to help the Resistance at the last moment when Luke is going in to make the last attempt on the bombing trench/exhaust vent run.
